Position Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drives specified non-CDL trucks (and CDL trucks as needed if licensed) to customer destinations
- Maintains the ability to determine the status of an order at any given time
- Follows any special instructions pertaining to an individual order
- Maintains inventory stock in the yard in a safe and orderly manner when not on the road
- Reports any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person
- Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers, and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up
- Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks, and reports discrepancies to supervisor
- Assists in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently
- Processes returns accurately
- Presents a neat and professional image
- Assists in keeping facility secure
- Maintains proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
- Seasonal Requirement: Assists with snow removal
- Other duties may be assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a current valid medical certification
- Must be a safe driver and have a clean driving record
- CDL A or B desired but not required
