Overview
We are seeking a dependable Dryer Vent Technician to perform cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of dryer vents across a multi-family apartment property. This role focuses on ensuring proper airflow, reducing fire hazards, and improving overall dryer efficiency for residents.
Responsibilities
- Clean and clear dryer vents using professional equipment
- Inspect vent systems for blockages, damage, or safety issues
- Document completed work and report any needed repairs
- Communicate with property management and residents as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and building guidelines
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
- Assist with ladder or lift work as required (training provided if needed)
Requirements
- Previous experience in dryer vent cleaning or HVAC/maintenance preferred, but not required
- Comfortable working on a boom lift
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good communication and customer service skills
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
