Full-Time & Part-Time Retail Lighting Sales Associate
Our family-owned retail lighting store is seeking an experienced Full-Time and Part-Time Retail Lighting Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate has a background in lighting sales and enjoys helping customers.
Tuesday-Saturday (Saturday hours 10am-5pm)
We are looking for someone who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about design. If you enjoy building relationships, working in a creative environment, and being part of a supportive team with strong community connections, we would love to meet you.
Responsibilities Include:
- Greet and assist customers in our showroom
- Provide guidance on lighting selections and solutions for residential projects
- Help customers choose fixtures, styles, finishes, and products that meet their needs
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and provide excellent follow-up service
- Maintain showroom appearance, including cleaning, organizing, tagging, and merchandising products
- Assist with inventory management and product organization
- Use basic computer systems for sales, customer information, and order processing
Qualifications:
- Retail lighting sales experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional, positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills required
- Interior design experience is a plus
