Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and energetic residential Painter to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance durability, and ensure high-quality results that meet safety standards and client expectations. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces through sanding, plastering, cleaning, and surface repair to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately execute painting projects according to design plans.
• Apply paint using various methods including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (conventional and airless), and construction spray painting techniques.
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely to reach high or difficult areas while maintaining safety regulations and protocols.
• Perform structural painting tasks on surfaces such as stucco or fixtures, ensuring proper coating thickness and color consistency based on visual color comparison standards.
• Conduct surface preparation for renovation or remodeling projects, including surface priming and coating application on diverse materials like plaster, drywall, metal, or wood.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations by wearing respiratory protection and following safety protocol guidelines during all phases of work.
• Assist with construction estimating by assessing project scope and material needs when required.
• Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste materials and cleaning tools after each project.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings with a solid understanding of surface preparation and finishing techniques.
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless spray systems), brushes, rollers, and scaffolding equipment.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to paint quantities and surface area calculations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately for precise project execution.
• Experience working on renovation or remodeling projects with attention to detail in color matching and surface finishing.
• Understanding of safety regulations related to construction site work including respiratory protection measures.
• Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint or coating requirements.
• Additional handyman experience such as fixture installation or minor repairs is a plus but not required.

Pay: $17.50 - $28.50 per hour
