Large wholesale organization seeks Payroll CoordinatorSummary of the Job:The Payroll Coordinator prepares and compiles payroll data for submission to the Shared Services Payroll Department for Corporate employees to receive payment.Key Qualifications and Requirements:Minimum of two years of experience with processing payroll with multi-state employeesUnderstand the flow of payroll processes (from recording hours through mailing the check)Working knowledge of payroll deductions and taxesExcellent communication skills (verbal & written)Strong analytical and interpersonal skillsBasic knowledge of accounting and finance principlesKnowledge and experience with SAP Financials a plusProficiency in PC skills, particularly Word and ExcelAbility to organize and prioritize workload in order to meet deadlinesTeam player, energetic, self-starter, motivatorCritical nature of this job may require extended hoursKey Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Weekly review of UKG information for verification and adjustment of hours workedProcess manual salary adjustments, such as vacation, PTO, etc.Maintain and run various bonus and salary programsCalculate sales commissionsProcess payment in kind transactions on an ad hoc basisTransmit payroll out to SSD in an accurate and timely mannerAudit weekly payroll to ensure that employees are paid accuratelyProcess high volume of payroll checks while multi-taskingResearch discrepancies in pay and/or benefit timeAble to explain gross pay to net pay to employees as neededHigh volume of inquires must be answered dailyRun various ad hoc reportsCommunicate within the department as well as outside the departmentComplete special projects as assignedCompany DescriptionAbout A Since being founded in 2002, A Consulting has grown at a rapid pace.
