About the Role
We are a growing restoration and construction company looking for a motivated, people-first Business Development Representative to be the face of our brand in the field. If you thrive on building relationships, hate being stuck at a desk, and want a role where no two days look the same, this is it. No prior industry experience required. We will train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and build relationships with plumbers, roofers, HVAC contractors, property managers, insurance agents, and other referral sources
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry meetups to represent the company
- Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with potential referral partners and clients
- Follow up on leads and maintain an active pipeline of referral relationships
- Educate contacts on our restoration and construction services and how we support their clients during emergencies
- Track activity, contacts, and relationship progress in a CRM or similar tool
- Report regularly to management on pipeline status and outreach activity
- Collaborate with internal teams on sales materials and outreach strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Recent grads welcome
- Outgoing, personable, and confident initiating conversations with new people
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule in the field
- Basic CRM or organizational skills a plus
- Valid driver's license required. This is a field-based role
