Job Description
Position Summary: MIG/TIG Welder, Aluminum (steel is a plus)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primarily weld aluminum components using MIG and TIG welding Equipment.
- Experience with steel MIG and stick welding techniques is a plus
- Fabricates custom railings, canopies, louvers and other components for new residential and commercial buildings
- Understands and adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
- Has extensive experience with fabrication raw materials
- able to prepare raw material for powdercoating and installation
- Can read blueprints and build to match documents
- previous experience with material saws is a plus
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Field installation experience is a plus
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to weld aluminum Mig and TIG
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Certified welder a plus
- Advanced knowledge of MIG and & TIG welders, plasma cutters. Familiar with basic electric hand tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
- Minimum of 3 year welding experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience with component full fabrication
