Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, caring, and safety-conscious Driver/Caregiver to join our team. This unique hybrid role involves providing safe and courteous transportation for our residents to appointments, outings, and events, as well as assisting with day-to-day caregiving responsibilities within the facility.
Key Responsibilities: Transportation Duties:
- Safely operate facility vehicle(s) to transport residents to medical appointments, errands, and recreational outings.
- Ensure all passengers are safely secured and assisted in and out of the vehicle as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, scheduling, and routine checks of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with the care team and residents about schedules and transportation needs.
Caregiving Duties:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Assist with meal service, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional conditions to the care team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous caregiving experience preferred, especially in senior care or assisted living.
- Ability to lift, move, and transfer residents as needed.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
