A Children’s Place Learning Center is looking for an experienced, energetic, caring, and dependable Preschool Teacher to join our team!
For more than 24 years, A Children’s Place has been a family-owned and operated childcare center serving families in the Lehigh Valley. We are proud to be a Keystone STARS 4 center with a close-knit team, a supportive work environment, and a genuine love for what we do.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Our ideal teacher is energetic, patient, nurturing, creative and dependable. You should genuinely enjoy working with preschool-aged children and understand that some days involve teaching letters and numbers…and other days involve tying shoes, wiping tears, answering 100 “why?” questions and celebrating because someone finally zipped their own coat.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences Create a warm, positive and inviting classroom environment Encourage learning through play, exploration and hands-on experiences Complete required classroom paperwork and documentation Communicate professionally and positively with families Maintain a clean, organized and safe classroom Assist with light classroom cleaning and daily upkeep Complete required DPW trainings and ongoing professional development Follow all center policies and Pennsylvania childcare regulations Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and administration Most importantly, make every child feel safe, loved, valued and excited to come to school
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Candidates must meet one of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field 2 years of experience
OR
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field 2 years of experience
Candidates must also be able to obtain/maintain all required childcare clearances, trainings and documentation. Be amazing if you already had these things!
