Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Attendant / Care Giver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of daily living care. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and comfort
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, documenting findings accurately
- Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining HIPAA compliance for confidentiality
- Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces
- Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in meaningful activities to foster social interaction and mental stimulation
Requirements
- Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes with a focus on senior or disability care is preferable
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer’s care strategies
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist with mobility using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory care needs is preferable
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams, families, and clients
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
