Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy tow operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various types of equipment, including heavy wreckers, rollbacks, Landoll and Lowbed. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service while performing essential tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate and maintain equipment such as tow trucks, flatbeds, wreckers, trailers safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform basic automotive diagnostics to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients during equipment operations.
- Assist in conflict management when dealing with challenging situations or customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and mechanical systems.
- Previous experience operating heavy wrecker tow trucks or flatbed vehicles is preferred.
- Strong conflict management skills to effectively address customer concerns.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Must be reliable and a team player
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,500.00 - $3,500.00 per week
