We are searching for a reliable and compassionate CNA to join our team.
The primary goal of the CNA is to provide patients with daily assistance, ensuring that they lead safe, comfortable, and well-managed lives in their own homes.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in health care, a patient and understanding approach, and the ability to handle the physical and emotional demands of the job.
The daily duties and responsibilities of a CNA include:
- Helping patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Providing basic healthcare services including checking vital signs like temperature, pulse rate, and respiration rate per the patient's care plan
- Assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as preparing meals, doing laundry, and tidying up living areas
- Reminding clients to take medications as directed by the supervising healthcare professional
- Helping patients maintain their exercise and physical therapy routines
- Keeping records of patient's health condition and reporting any significant changes to the supervising nurse
- Assisting patients with mobility, helping them move around the house or outside
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients, while also educating them about their health conditions
- Assisting patients in setting up transportation to doctor's appointments and running other essential errands if needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course
- Basic first aid and CPR certification
- Physical ability and stamina to perform the role
- Experience in home health care is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, understanding, and empathy
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Clean Background check
- Current TB Test
