About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC New Construction Installer to join our team in Arizona. This role involves installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new residential and light commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ductwork, equipment installation, and jobsite coordination, along with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
New Construction HVAC Installer Key Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation, and ductwork) in new residential and light commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure proper layout and installation.
- Measure and install sheet metal ductwork, flexible ducting, and air distribution systems.
- Set and connect HVAC equipment including condensers, air handlers, coils, and thermostats.
- Perform refrigerant piping, brazing, and pressure/leak testing as required.
- Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades on the jobsite.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, time spent, and progress made.
New Construction HVAC Installer Qualifications:
- 2 years of HVAC installation experience (new construction preferred).
- Knowledge of residential/light commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, and controls.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
- Valid Arizona driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors in Arizona heat.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience with custom homes.
- Strong brazing and refrigerant piping skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.
