What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver (North Bay) Thursday - Monday needed position at A Bright Future, Inc.?
A Bright Future provides resources to adults with disabilities who want to live on their own. CLI's (Community Living Instructors) provide necessary instruction to participants as well as to assist them with maintaining their independence and safety in the community.
Shift - Thursday to Monday 12am-8am, 8am-4pm or 4pm-12am
Qualifications:
0-6 months experience providing care or teaching living skills to others. This experience can be unpaid, or volunteer experience. A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others. If no experience can be demonstrated; A Bright Future will hold mandatory trainings prior to working with participants.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age.
Current ID/License
CPR and First Aid training, or willingness to be trained within 90 days of employment.
Negative TB/chest x-ray (prior to employment).
DOJ Clearance
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to talk and hear; regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach within arm's length; lift and move objects weighing up to 40 pounds; possess visual acuity; and possibly drive during their assigned work shift.
