Position Overview:We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Staff and House Leads. In this role, you will provide daily care, supervision, and support to children and teens in a structured, safe, and nurturing environment. You will play a key role in helping youth develop life skills, build positive relationships, and maintain emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision and care for children and teens
- Support daily routines, including meals, hygiene, school preparation, and activities
- Implement behavior support plans and encourage positive behavior
- Maintain a safe, clean, and structured living environment
- Build trusting, supportive relationships with youth
- Accurately document daily activities, incidents, and progress notes
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Additional Responsibilities for House Lead:
- Provide leadership and guidance to Direct Care Staff on shift
- Assist with supervision, training, and mentoring team members
- Ensure program policies and procedures are followed
- Act as a point of contact during shifts for questions or concerns
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children and/or teens required
- Preferred: 3 years of relevant experience, 5 years for house lead.
- Preferred: Experience with trauma-informed care for children
- Must be able to work in or commute to Rigby and Rexburg, ID
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Dependable, responsible, and team-oriented
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Must be able to pass an enhanced background check
Schedule & Availability:
- Facility operates 24/7; schedules are flexible but not fixed
- No guaranteed set schedule or set hours
- Hiring for all shifts (days, evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays)
- Potential for overtime during holidays and other high-need times.
Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
