Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician to join our mental health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive behavioral health services, including psychotherapy, patient assessment, and crisis intervention to children and adolescent populations in our behavioral health clinic and intensive outpatient settings. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their wellness goals. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, animal-assisted therapy (AAT), and other evidence-based interventions.
  • Implement crisis management protocols and crisis intervention techniques to ensure client safety during acute episodes.
  • Provide specialized counseling for issues including addiction, grief, PTSD, identity concerns, ADHD, sexual assault, family violence, attachment, and family disruption.
  • Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations; ensure accurate medical terminology usage and timely updates of patient care notes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, patient care coordination, and clinical research initiatives.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to expand access to behavioral health services while adhering to all clinical standards, when appropriate.

Required

  • Valid licensure as a Behavioral Health Clinician (e.g., Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor or LPC-A) with current state certification.
  • Ability to work on-site in Kingsville, Texas at least 30 hours per week.

Requested

  • Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or related approaches.
  • Demonstrated expertise working with children and/or adolescents in outpatient or inpatient settings.
  • Hands-on experience with crisis intervention strategies and behavior management techniques in high-pressure environments.
  • Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Experience delivering services via telehealth platforms is preferred; familiarity with medical terminology and medical records management is essential.
  • Background in working with diverse populations such as those experiencing PTSD, addiction issues, chronic pain management, or developmental challenges is highly valued.

Pay: $20,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
