- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help with meal planning and preparation.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's health status.
- Experience in assisted living or similar environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols.
- Compassionate approach to care, especially for clients with autism, dementia, or those in hospice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with effective techniques.
- Basic knowledge of first aid procedures.
- Physically capable of heavy lifting and assisting with transfers.
- Must be able to drive within a 25-mile radius.
