Join our dedicated team at A Better Solution In Home Care as a Caregiver in Fontana, CA! Demetia experience preferred. Spouse prefers a MALE caregiver. This rewarding position allows you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients while providing compassionate care in the comfort of their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication reminders.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Monitor and document clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the care team.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients, following health and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental health.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
