Our work spans housing support, resource navigation, crisis response, and community-based programs throughout San Diego County.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Project Coordinator to support our growing programs. This role is ideal for someone who can manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with diverse populations, and help individuals and families navigate complex systems such as regional center services and public benefits.
You will play a key role in connecting clients to critical services while supporting program operations, outreach, and reporting efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Client Support & Case Coordination
- Assist clients and families with navigating the Regional Center intake process
- Support completion of applications for:
- SSI / SSDI
- CalFresh
- Medical and related services
- Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely case notes and records
Program Coordination
- Support day-to-day operations of community-based programs
- Track referrals, service utilization, and outcomes
- Assist with scheduling workshops, trainings, resource fairs, and events
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure service delivery
Outreach & Community Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners
- Represent the organization at events, resource fairs, and workshops
- Support outreach efforts to increase awareness and referrals
Data Tracking & Reporting
- Assist with data collection for grant reporting and program evaluation
- Maintain spreadsheets and tracking systems
- Support preparation of reports and summaries for leadership
Qualifications
Required
- 2 years of experience in:
- Case management, social services, or program coordination
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
- Comfortable working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities
Preferred
- Experience working with IDD populations
- Familiarity with:
- San Diego Regional Center (SDRC)
- Public benefits (SSI, Medi-Cal, CalFresh)
- Experience grant-funded programs
Work Environment
- Hybrid (office and in-person meetings, events, or client support)
- Primarily Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends based on events/resource fairs.
Pay: $24.00 per hour
