Group Facilitator - 1099 Contractor
Location: Seattle, WA

Compensation: $100 - $150/hour.

Schedule: As needed (PRN) up to 10 hours per week and flexibility is highly preferred. Scheduling will be determined during the interview process.

Position Overview

AMFM Healthcare is seeking a Group Facilitator to lead therapeutic group sessions for our in-person IOP/OP program. In this role, you will guide clients through evidence-based practices, helping them develop the skills necessary for long-term stability and recovery. Ideal candidates will have experience facilitating groups in Art Therapy, Fitness/Wellness, Psychodrama, or other mental health modalities. **Not currently looking for Music Therapy**

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Work with acute clients experiencing co-occurring mood disorders, substance use, and suicidal ideation.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and California Licensing Standards.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and create individualized care plans with measurable objectives.
  • Document client progress, develop transition and discharge plans, and maintain accurate clinical records.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and act as a point of contact for families regarding clinical care.
  • Participate in staff meetings, quality management initiatives, and training programs.
  • Adhere to ethical standards, legal guidelines, and AMFM Healthcare’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's, however a Master's degree in a clinically related field is highly preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Leading group therapy sessions (process, psychoeducational, etc.).
    • Working with individuals struggling with mental health and addiction issues.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check and required screenings.
    • Physical ability to sit for long periods, use a computer, and lift up to 10 lbs.
