Led by a Massage Therapist Who Gets It
A Better Body is owned and operated by a licensed massage therapist who understands the physical and emotional demands of this work. Your well-being, boundaries, and growth truly matter here.
- Provide high-quality therapeutic massage services tailored to each client’s needs
- Maintain accurate and timely SOAP notes for every session
- 30-minute gaps between clients (option to reduce to 15 minutes once fully trained, if preferred)
- Check in and check out your own clients for a more personalized experience(We believe in building real connections—not handing clients off to a front desk who doesn’t know their needs.)
- Communicate with clients as needed through our virtual phone/text system for reschedules (Most clients use our online booking system for ease.)
- Assist with in-house laundry duties (We do all laundry onsite, and each provider is expected to help wash, dry, and fold at least as much as they use each day. Some days you may do more, other days less—it’s all about supporting each other and being part of the team.)
You’re a licensed massage therapist who brings both technical skill and a heart for healing. You’re passionate about helping others feel their best—and you thrive in a collaborative, supportive team environment.
- Licensed by the State of Wisconsin (or awaiting licensure)
- Skilled in therapeutic massage techniques, with the ability to adjust pressure and approach based on client needs
- Confident in deep tissue work when appropriate, while maintaining proper body mechanics
- Proficient in SOAP notes and client documentation, with strong attention to detail
- Professional and ethical, with knowledge of proper draping, client confidentiality, and industry standards
- Customer-focused, with a warm, welcoming presence that puts clients at ease
- Comfortable with client communication, including occasional rescheduling and service recommendations
- Eager to learn and grow, open to feedback, and excited to expand your skills through CEUs, mentorship, and collaboration
- Self-motivated and organized, able to manage your time, schedule, and responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Genuinely team-oriented—you show up for your coworkers, celebrate shared wins, and contribute to a positive workplace culture

- Pay Transparency
- Part-time therapists average $36,000/year, Full-time therapists earn $72,800
- (Includes tips; based on experience and number of massages per week)
- Equates to approximately $33–$40/hour hands-on pay tips
- 10% commission on product sales
