Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations, to identify client needs and inform intervention strategies
- Develop, oversee, and modify individualized treatment plans grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill acquisition and reduce maladaptive behaviors
- Lead clinical supervision of behavior technicians and other team members, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and best practices in behavior intervention
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Collaborate closely with families, schools, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans, provide training, and support successful implementation of behavioral strategies
- Conduct intake assessments for new clients, including patient care planning and initial behavioral evaluations
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure timely updates of medical records and progress notes
Requirements
- Hold current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Demonstrate experience working with children with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders
- Possess strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral psychological assessments, functional assessments, and behavior intervention techniques
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings such as home-based therapy or school environments
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and clinical supervision practices
- Ability to conduct behavioral health assessments, functional behavior assessments (FBA), and diagnostic evaluations effectively
- Excellent client communication skills to engage clients’ families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams confidently
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards for handling sensitive medical information
