Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Human Resources Director to lead our HR initiatives, foster a positive workplace culture, and drive organizational growth. This pivotal role involves overseeing all human resources functions, aligning HR strategies with business objectives, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive HR expertise, and a passion for developing talent within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational goals to support growth and operational excellence
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by managing sourcing, interviewing, hiring processes, and onboarding programs to attract top talent
- Oversee employee orientation, training & development programs, and performance management systems to foster continuous improvement
- Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts, conducting investigations, and promoting a positive work environment
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor laws such as FMLA, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation policies, and other legal requirements
- Administer benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, payroll processing through systems like Paychex , and benefits administration
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on strategic planning and program management
- Demonstrated supervising experience in leading HR teams or departments effectively
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and contract management
- Expertise in talent acquisition strategies
- Excellent negotiation, communication skills, and ability to handle conflict management with tact and professionalism
- Ability to lead change management initiatives while fostering a culture of continuous process improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field; advanced certifications are a plus
