Duties
- Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional customer service through effective phone etiquette and personalized assistance
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate stylist availability using POS systems
- Assist with retail sales, including upselling products and conducting product demos to clients
- Handle cash handling, cashiering, and basic retail math accurately during transactions
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing product displays, and ensuring cleanliness of the retail area
- Support inventory management by stock replenishment and tracking product levels
- Supervise the front desk operations, including supervising staff or interns if applicable
- Promote salon services and retail offerings to increase sales opportunities
- Assist with promotional activities and ensure the salon environment is inviting and professional
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles; supervisory experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising, stock management, and retail math
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members
- Ability to upsell products effectively while providing knowledgeable product demos
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Experience in a grocery store or retail environment is beneficial but not required
- Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining professionalism
