Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Cardiology Office
Now Hiring: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our cardiology practice. This position will primarily focus on performing cardiac nuclear stress testing and providing excellent patient care in a professional, physician-office setting.
Position Responsibilities
Perform nuclear medicine cardiac stress tests and related imaging procedures
Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly and compassionately
Administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols
Perform treadmill and/or pharmacologic stress testing as required
Monitor patients throughout testing and recognize/report changes in patient condition
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine and cardiac imaging equipment
Maintain accurate patient records and follow radiation safety procedures
Work closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff
Maintain a clean, safe, and patient-friendly environment
Qualifications
ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification
Current state-required licensing/registration
BLS certification
Nuclear medicine experience preferred
Cardiac stress testing experience is a plus
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
