Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator is responsible for organizing and controlling all warehouse, re-pack operations, loading and unloading all inbound and outbound operations and maintenance of warehouse as required by company’s GMPs & Food Safety SOPs.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist with the receiving, warehousing, and dispatching of product orders, reviewing of quality, quantity and reporting any differences to warehouse manager and / or office personnel.
- Staging and/ or filling orders. Dispatching Orders by providing required documentation and permits to drivers.
- Assist in inventory control with physical counts as needed by office personnel when reconciling with ERP by office personnel.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by following security procedures and protocols, such as the company's GMPs & FOOD SAFETY SOPs.
- Ensures proper storage and rotation of all products and supplies
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the physical condition of warehouse, coolers and warehouse bathroom, & Truck loading area.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience managing a perishable food warehouse.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office). QuickBooks a plus
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Flexible schedule 2 years warehouse experience.
- Good people and interpersonal skills.
- Fork Lift and Electric Pallet Jack certification.
- Bilingual (English /Spanish)
