What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architectural Manager position at A.B. Design Group?
Architectural firm looking for an experienced manager. We need someone capable of managing the daily activities of a team of drafters. The manager would be working with a team of several people. The manager would be over seeing some of the following jobs: preparing construction documents, permit packages, master model development, and plan maintenance. We deal primarily with Single Family Homes and Multi-Family Townhouses. We are also involved with some light commercial. A strong residential background and knowledge of Florida construction is very important. That would include a comprehensive working knowledge of the Florida Building Code and other published regulations. The manager must have a high degree of understanding of Autodesk Architecture or AutoCAD LT. We are utilizing an advanced drafting platform. We are looking for a manager with high level CAD Operators Skills.The candidate should present themselves as professional and capable. We expect them to be confidant in their skills based on their education and experiences. They should have an executive level of understanding in both Architecture drawings and managing people. Experience in goal development and implementation will be helpfully.
