2nd Shift Janitorial Supervisor

A & B Commercial Cleaning is looking to add Janitorial / Custodial supervisor to our team. Candidates should be well qualified supervisors with a high level of enthusiasm and experience supporting multiple staff members.

Our ideal candidate will be able to create a team culture that encourages the highest levels of performance, provides coaching and mentoring as needed and strives to create efficiencies and synergies that maximize the utilization of their workforce. Supervisors will perform cleaning duties as needed at their sites, to assist other staff members and cover when employees are out.

This position requires exceptional communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to solve problems and make timely and effective decisions that support the most positive customer experience. Some weekend work will be required.

1 POSITION AVAILABLE IN SHELBY TWP [M-F 5:00pm-1:00am] 1 WEEKEND A MONTH

· Must be goal oriented, with a drive to improve staff performance

· Must have good organizational skills

· Must have an eye for detail and accuracy

· Must be reliable, with high integrity and a strong work ethic

· Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment

· Must have at least 2-5 years leadership experience

· Previous experience as a supervisor or manager in a janitorial or housekeeping services role is highly desired

· Must be computer literate

· Must have a valid driver license and clean driving record

· Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities:

· Training and ensuring that workers are properly trained for their specific roles

· Ensure that employees are meeting performance expectations

· Provides quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards

· Schedules and approves hours adhering to established budgets

· Completes operations by developing schedules, assigning and monitoring work, distributing supplies, implementing productivity standards, resolving operational problems, establishing training guidelines and implementing new procedures

· Maintains safe and healthy work environment enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations

· Accomplishes desired results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees

· Reporting to management any important issues and updating them on the status of work at buildings

· Filling in as needed and assisting with special projects
