Far From Normal Sign Supply powered by A&B Business Solutions is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Fargo, North Dakota. This position is responsible for supporting existing customers, developing new business opportunities, processing orders, providing product recommendations, and helping customers find the right solutions for their sign, graphics, and printing needs.
The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment where customer service and teamwork are top priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Contact prospective customers to generate new sales opportunities.
- Prepare quotes and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with product selection, pricing, availability, and technical questions.
- Follow up on open quotes and sales opportunities.
- Work closely with outside sales representatives and service technicians to support customer needs.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding product availability, lead times, and special pricing.
- Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity records.
- Assist with inventory inquiries and product sourcing.
- Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and customer outreach campaigns.
- Resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Stay informed on industry trends, products, and equipment offered by Far From Normal.
- 15% travel. Sometimes overnight in the north Midwest region.
Qualifications
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Experience in the sign, graphics, printing, or related industry is preferred but not required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of wide-format printing, vinyl graphics, sign-making materials, or related products.
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems.
- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
