General Laborer
AUSTIN Texas 78725
$18.00 per hour
1st Shift | 6AM - Finish | Monday–Friday / Typically 8 hours per day
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to assist with daily operations in Dekalb, IL. This position involves performing a variety of general manual labor tasks to support field operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a team, and gaining hands-on experience in landfill operations and environmental services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including lifting, moving, loading, and unloading materials
- Assist with site maintenance and cleanup as directed
- Operate hand tools and light equipment safely
- Support field operations and follow all site safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by site supervisors
Requirements
- No prior experience required — training provided
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must wear appropriate work clothing and footwear (steel-toe boots recommended)
Schedule & Pay -
- Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
- Shift: 1st Shift, Start 6AM
- Days: Monday – Friday
