Job DescriptionAs A Advanced Septic & Construction continues to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (Field Sales – Septic Services) to join our team.
This is a field-based sales role focused on generating new business, building relationships, and driving revenue growth within our service territory. You will serve as a key first point of contact for prospective customers, identifying needs, educating clients on septic services, and guiding opportunities through the sales process through contract execution.
This role is ideal for a self-starter with a competitive mindset who thrives in face-to-face interaction, territory development, and consultative selling within a technical service environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily field-based prospecting and in-person client outreach within assigned territories
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and territory canvassing
- Conduct in-person visits with prospective residential and commercial clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, property managers, and key decision-makers
- Deliver professional sales presentations and propose service agreements, maintenance plans, and project solutions
- Conduct outbound calls to set face-to-face appointments and follow up on leads
- Complete on-site evaluations and field visits as needed to assess service needs
- Accurately document all activity, notes, and pipeline updates in CRM (ServiceTitan)
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transition from sale to service delivery
- Participate in ongoing sales training, team meetings, and development programs
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Valid driver’s license with 3 years of licensed driving experience
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with company standards
- 2 years of B2B sales, field sales, or prospecting experience preferred
- Strong self-motivation, discipline, and competitive drive
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments and varying field conditions
- Ability to safely navigate job sites that may include uneven terrain or confined access areas when required
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs when necessary for field-related tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate pipeline data
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- High integrity and strong work ethic
- Experience in septic, plumbing, construction, or residential field services
- Familiarity with septic system components and service requirements
- Experience working with property managers, HOAs, or mobile home parks
- Confined Space Entry Certification or related field training (a plus, not required)
- Background in technical or consultative field sales
