Truck Washer and Laborer

Job Description

A Advanced Septic and Construction Services is hiring a Full-Time Truck Washer Laborer to maintain company vehicles, equipment, yards, and facilities. This position will wash and detail septic trucks, vehicles, excavators, and other equipment; perform general yard and facility upkeep; assist with parts running and shop duties; and support septic field crews as needed.

The employee will travel between company locations, including our Auburn-area location, to wash and maintain vehicles and equipment. The position may also assist septic pumpers with general labor, including exposing septic tank lids, digging, moving equipment, and cleanup.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license held for at least three (3) years. Driver's permit time does not count toward the three-year requirement.
• Must be eligible for and maintain coverage under the company's driver/vehicle insurance policy and have a satisfactory MVR.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and participate in random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
• Must be physically able to safely perform the essential functions of the position, including lifting up to 75 pounds, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors.
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing to travel between company locations and assist with yard, shop, equipment, and septic-related labor as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, dry, and detail company vehicles and equipment, including septic trucks, cars, vans, excavators, flatbed trucks, trailers, and other machinery.
• Clean and maintain vehicle interiors.
• Safely operate pressure washers, hoses, brushes, and other cleaning equipment.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment for visible damage or safety concerns and report issues.
• Maintain clean and organized yards, shops, work areas, and facilities.
• Organize hoses, tools, supplies, and yard equipment.
• Assist with yard maintenance, parts running, general maintenance, warehouse and shop duties.
• Travel between company locations to wash and maintain vehicles and equipment.
• Assist septic pumpers and field crews with general labor, including digging to expose septic tank lids, moving materials/equipment, and cleanup.
• Follow company safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Full-Time — 40 hours per week

• Must work Saturday and Sunday
• Four (4) 10-hour shifts or five (5) 8-hour shifts
• Year-round position
• Additional hours may be available based on business needs
• Schedule will be determined based on operational needs

License/Certification

• Valid Driver's License Required
• Driver's license must have been held for at least 3 years; driver's permit time does not count toward the three-year requirement
• Must meet and maintain eligibility under the company's driver/vehicle insurance policy
