Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable EL02 Residential Journeyman Electrician to support residential septic system installations and service work. This position focuses on electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair of septic-related electrical systems. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-driven, and experienced in residential electrical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems related to residential septic systems, including control panels, pumps, floats, and alarms
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and safely
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and job specifications
- Perform electrical upgrades and repairs in compliance with Washington State electrical codes
- Assist with minor plumbing or drain-related tasks when required (training provided)
- Collaborate with septic technicians during installations, repairs, and system evaluations
- Maintain accurate job documentation and service records
- Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are kept clean, organized, and in safe working condition
- Adhere to all OSHA, L&I, and company safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Washington State EL02 Residential Journeyman Electrician License
- Demonstrated experience working with residential electrical system
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in confined spaces and outdoor environments
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (per insurance requirements)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings
Driving Requirements (Insurance Requirement):
- Permit time does not count toward driving experience
- 3 years of licensed driving experience: Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- 4 years of licensed driving experience: Must have an acceptable driving record that meets company insurance requirement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with septic systems of wastewater related electrical work
- Familiarity with pump systems, alarms, and control panels
- Ownership of personal hand tools
