Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Unarmed Security Guard to join our security team, committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment across various facilities. This role involves monitoring premises, enforcing safety protocols, and providing professional assistance to visitors and staff. Shift: Overnight 12am to 10am. Weekly pay and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and identify potential hazards or security breaches.
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure safety protocols are upheld.
- Enforce facility policies and procedures, including loss prevention measures and conflict management strategies.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
- Control access points by verifying credentials and ensuring only authorized personnel enter designated areas.
- Assist visitors with directions or inquiries, providing excellent customer service while maintaining security standards.
- Observe and report suspicious activities or safety concerns to supervisory staff for prompt action.
Skills
- Proven ability in conflict management, de-escalation techniques, and maintaining composure under pressure.
- Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail in monitoring premises.
- Experience or background in military, law enforcement, or security roles is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with diverse individuals.
