ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS JOB?
The Roofing Estimator will work Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm. Each day begins at home, with direct dispatch to job sites within a one-hour radius of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Attendance at weekly team meetings in West Plains, Missouri, is also required. There is no need to report to a central office before starting your daily assignments.
In this Roofing Estimator position, your primary responsibilities will include assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions, conducting thorough inspections of various roofing types, flashing, ventilation, decking, siding, gutters, windows, and attic insulation. You will identify any storm, wind, hail, or age-related damage and document your findings with detailed notes and photographs. You will measure roof and house dimensions using both manual and aerial tools, educate customers regarding available materials, warranties, and financing options, and prepare accurate project estimates.
If you can do this and meet the following requirements, you might be a perfect fit!
- 2 years of estimating experience (residential or commercial)
- Experience in roofing, siding, and construction
- Proven track record of bidding and winning profitable projects
- Knowledge of all trades, including roofing, siding, soffit, fascia, gutters, windows, spray foam, blown-in, and roof coatings (preferred)
