Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest activity and potential entry points.
- Apply pest control treatments using appropriate chemicals, baits, traps, or eco-friendly solutions while adhering to safety protocols.
- Develop customized pest management plans tailored to each client’s needs and property specifics.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments administered, and follow-up recommendations.
- Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and proper maintenance practices to reduce future infestations.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and efficiently during treatment processes.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites while maintaining a clean driving record.
- Assist with lawn care, landscaping, or farming tasks as needed to support overall property health and pest prevention efforts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry regulations, safety standards, and new pest control technologies to provide the best solutions possible.
Skills
- Have a junior operator license from the State of Connecticut
- Proven experience in pest control or related fields such as lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture.
- Strong knowledge of pest treatment methods, and prevention strategies.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, lift and carry a ladder and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record for reliable transportation between job sites.
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting heavy equipment or supplies for extended periods.
- Clear communication skills to explain procedures clearly and build rapport with clients.
