Qualifications
Good communication skills, ability to follow directions and works well in either an individual or team environment
Familiarity with all required safety practices associated with the job and Follow safety procedures, security protocol
At least 5 years’ experience
Familiarity with Siemens, HAAS and Heidenhain Controls
Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering degree
Responsibilities
- Creates, maintains, and trouble shoots part programs for all types of CNC equipment, taking into consideration such factors as machining parameters and cutter selection.
- Run and prove out first run programs.
- Interface with machinists to review programs.
- Interfaces across the entire organization and engineering group and promotes teamwork and the pursuance of common goals
- Develop and refine manufacturing standards for all aspects of the sequential processes created to produce a quality product in a cost-efficient manner.
- Work with manufacturing personnel, engineering product teams and outside vendors to troubleshoot relative quality or delivery issues.
- Review and study existing equipment, facilities, systems, and processes to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
- Comply with all applicable health, safety, and company rules and regulations.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering degree
• 5 years of experience required
