Duties
- Mow lawns using push mowers, riding mowers, or other power tools to achieve a clean, professional appearance.
- Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges with hand tools or power equipment to enhance landscape aesthetics.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, weeding, planting, and mulching to promote healthy growth.
- Operate machinery including excavators and other construction equipment for hardscape installation or site preparation.
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, or installing components to ensure optimal watering schedules.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
- Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and blowers efficiently for various gardening and landscaping tasks.
Experience
- Prior experience in lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating and maintaining power tools and equipment safely.
- Familiarity with landscaping techniques such as tree trimming, horticulture practices, and hardscape installation is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
