Position Overview
We are seeking motivated and dependable Warehouse Operators to join our team in Cockeysville, Maryland. This role plays a critical part in supporting daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, material handling, and equipment operation.
The ideal candidate will ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment
- Use RF scanners to accurately pick products from warehouse locations
- Verify product quantities and quality before packing
- Properly pack, seal, and label shipments according to company standards
- Prepare outbound orders for timely and accurate shipment
Material Handling
- Load and unload trailers and containers safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Transport materials throughout the facility as needed
Inventory & Organization
- Stack and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations
- Maintain organized aisles and storage areas
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives
Equipment & Safety
- Perform daily equipment inspections, including forklifts and other warehouse tools
- Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures
- Maintain a clean and hazard free work environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, carry, and stand for extended periods.
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move products safely using proper techniques
- Safety and proper lifting practices must be followed at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
