Mover/Packer

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Movers to join our team. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the transportation of goods and materials, ensuring that items are loaded, unloaded, and delivered safely and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Duties

• Load and unload items from trucks and other vehicles with care to prevent damage.
• Operate various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles as needed.
• Assist in packing and unpacking items for transport.
• Ensure that all items are securely fastened during transit to prevent shifting or damage.
• Follow designated routes for delivery while adhering to safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and requirements.

Skills

• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
• Valid commercial driving license may be required for certain positions.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of route driving and navigating efficiently within designated areas.
• Experience as a courier or in delivery driving is advantageous.
• Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.11 - $21.26 per hour
