What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at A&A Electronics Assembly Inc?
We are looking for responsible person as a 'Delivery Driver' to deliver customer products to their locations in the central California coastal areas. The trip is made once a week alternating on Tuesdays then Thursdays.
Responsibilities
- Load - Arrive on site typically around 5pm the night before a delivery to assist loading and organizing the products in the van.
- Drive - Leave for CA at 5 am the next morning for the 6-hour drive.
- Deliver - Stopping at 6 to 8 locations between Lompoc CA and the San Fernando Valley (depending on the day) and dropping off/picking up items/materials from customer locations.
- Return Drive - Return to Lake Havasu the same day.
- **Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Time breakdown
- A typical delivery day runs about hours depending on the number and location of the deliveries.
- The pay rate is 24 hours per delivery (24hrs x 18.00/hr. = 432.00/day)
Skills
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- Must be insurable
