Job Overview

We are a small, specialized wood shop and finish carpentry company seeking a highly skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-end finish carpentry, including door and hardware installation, trim, and casework. This role requires a professional who can operate independently, deliver exceptional craftsmanship, and contribute to our reputation for quality workmanship. The successful applicant will be proficient in cabinet installation and finishing, with the ability to handle complex projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install doors, hardware, trim, and casework with precision and attention to detail.
• Execute high-end cabinet installation, ensuring proper fit and finish.
• Perform finishing work on cabinetry and woodwork to achieve a polished appearance.
• Function effectively without supervision, managing tasks efficiently from start to finish.
• Maintain tools and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Bring your own tools and reliable 4x4 transportation to job sites.

Skills

• Minimum of 10 years of verifiable experience as a Finish Carpenter or similar role.
• Proficiency in door/hardware installation, trim, and casework.
• Experience in high-end cabinet installation and finishing is essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills.
• Well-tooled with necessary carpentry tools.
• Reliable transportation (preferably 4x4).
• Knowledge of cabinet building or finishing is a plus.
