Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to ensure proper system installation and repairs. Perform equipment repair using appropriate tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Diagnose mechanical issues related to refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration, and appliance repair. Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems and property maintenance as needed. Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all service activities. Maintain detailed records of service work performed and parts used.SkillsProven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields such as construction or property maintenance.
