Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Master Mechanic located in Emporia, KS. The Master Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on various equipment, with a focus on heavy machinery. Day-to-day tasks include conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, replacing or repairing faulty components, and ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition. The role may also involve working closely with a team to ensure the timely completion of projects and adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Diesel Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance & Repair
- Experience with Heavy Equipment operations and repairs
- Strong Troubleshooting skills to effectively diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
- Ability to read and interpret computer diagnostic, technical manuals and schematics
- Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Relevant certifications or technical training in mechanics or a related field is preferred
