Job Summary:Run bridgeports, lathes and surface grinders to make clamps, repair tool holders. Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties/Responsibilities:Setup and run Bridgeport operations on aerospace parts.Make clamps, repair tool holders.Communicates with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve any issues.Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly. Perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company AS9100 quality program and procedures, Company policies and Safety and Environmental regulations.May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Required Skills/Abilities:Must be familiar with bridgeports, lathes and surface grinders.Must be able to read blueprints.Must be able to follow written and oral instructionsMust be detail oriented.Must be able to communicate in English (both oral and written) as it relates to the jobMust be adaptable to a changing work environmentMust possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.Education and Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a job-shop environment.High School Diploma or GED. Technical/Vocational training desired.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift 25 pounds
