We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team! Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of forklift equipment such as sit-down, slip and Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments safely and efficiently
- Perform inventory management tasks using warehouse management systems (WMS), including barcode scanning for logistics and order picking
- Handle materials with precision, ensuring proper manual handling techniques and heavy lifting safety standards are followed at all times
- Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
- Conduct routine equipment inspections, perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for repairs needed on forklifts or other material handling equipment
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipment details, and safety checks in compliance with OSHA regulations
- Support warehouse distribution operations by organizing storage areas, managing stock levels, and ensuring optimal space utilization
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklift equipment in a warehouse setting
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory control procedures
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and warehouse safety protocols
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials manually when necessary
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately
- Previous experience in shipping & receiving or materials handling roles preferred
- Valid forklift certification or equivalent training demonstrating proficiency in heavy equipment operation
