A-1 Industries of Florida, Inc. is looking for a results-driven Sr. Outside Sales Representative to join our team and drive growth in the construction market—especially in Multi-Family projects. If you are passionate about relationship building, problem solving, and providing real value to builders and framers, we want to hear from you.
🔧 What You’ll Be Selling:
-Fabricated roof and floor trusses
-Pre-cut framing systems
-A full line of manufactured building components and services
You’ll represent A-1’s core values: Own It, Passionate, Honesty, and Respect, while building long-term partnerships and delivering exceptional service across your assigned territory.
💼 Responsibilities:
-Build, maintain, and grow relationships with Builders & Framers
-Develop and execute strategic plans to expand your customer base
-Identify sales opportunities and close profitable deals
-Conduct presentations, site visits, and client meetings
-Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
-Track leads, report sales metrics, and meet or exceed sales goals
-Travel regularly across your assigned territory to develop business
✅ You Bring:
-5 years of proven sales experience in trusses, lumber, or a similar field
-An established network or book of business in the construction industry
-Deep industry knowledge and the ability to read blueprints/plans
-Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
-Self-starter mindset with a passion for helping customers succeed
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus
-A Bachelor’s degree in business or construction is preferred
📍 Territory Coverage:
I-10 Corridor (Pensacola to Jacksonville) North Florida, Southern Georgia, and Southern Alabama. Travel required.
📦 Physical Requirements:
-Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
-Comfortable working at a desk and in the field
-Must be able to travel regularly to job sites and client meetings
