A-1 Electrical Contractors, Inc is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to join our team. The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s warehouse operations, procurement logistics, material staging, fleet scheduling, and delivery coordination. This individual will develop systems to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure accurate and timely support to field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring materials are properly tracked and accounted for.
- Implement and maintain organization systems to improve efficiency and reduce material loss.
Logistics & Fleet Coordination
- Manage and coordinate deliveries of materials and equipment to job sites.
- Schedule drivers and vehicles to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Track and manage company vehicles and equipment maintenance.
Inventory & Procurement Support
- Partner with purchasing to forecast material needs based on active ad upcoming projects.
- Oversee staging of project-specific materials to ensure field crews have what they need on time.
- Implement inventory control processes, including cycle counts and audits.
Team Leadership
- Supervise warehouse staff, delivery drivers, and logistics personnel.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance management to ensure a safe and productive team.
Qualifications:
Required
- 5 years of experience warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management (construction or electrical contracting preferred).
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of safety standards (OSHA compliance).
Preferred
- Experience in electrical contracting or construction materials handling.
- Familiarity with fleet management software or logistics scheduling tools.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
