What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager -Co-packaging position at A-1 Creative Packaging?
As a Project manager, you will have the opportunity to manage some of A-1’s top customers and build a strong relationship with the teams both internally and externally.The project manager will coordinate production of customer packaging projects and related services for the company’s customers. The project manager owns the overall relation with our customers and maintains positive customer relations through active engagement through all stages of the manufacturing process from initial contact through final disposition of the customer’s product.Duties and Responsibilities:Confer with customers throughout the production process to keep them informed of the status of jobs, solicit additional information needed for current jobs and coordinate changes to jobs/products.Forward/review First Lot Approval pictures to the customer, verify all incoming components for the job and inform the customer of any material shortages.Ensure job instructions and documentation are entered into and verified in the ERP systems.Coordinate production of components with other internal departments and/or external vendors as required.Coordinate the resolution of customer or manufacturing issues with jobs. Engage appropriate departments to verify the issue and determine the root cause. Communicate with customers regarding the resolution of issues.Monitor the progress of jobs throughout production, confer with manufacturing operations on counts and final runs and ensure the final product meets customer requirements and company standards. Obtain customer approvals for any overruns or shortages on the purchase orders and communicate to shipping and accounting to close out the job.Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.Company DescriptionA1 Creative Packaging was started in 1987. Salary : $50,000 - $70,000
