PAVING CREW OPERATORS & LABORERS
Since its formation in 1994, Rocky Mountain Pavement has been Colorado’s premier contractor in providing asphalt maintenance services to both commercial and private customers, specializing in asphalt paving and patching, hot-pour crack seal, sealcoat, striping, and concrete repairs.
We are looking for Paving Crew Operators and Laborers to join our team:
Paver Operator, Roller Operator, Equipment Operator, Laborers
Requirements
- Two years’ experience as a paving crew operator or laborer
- Able to work 60 hours per week
- Verifiable professional and personal references
- Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR, a CDL is encouraged
- Own transportation to and from shop
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and submit to random drug and alcohol tests
- Able to read, write, and speak English – bilingual a plus (English/Spanish)
Qualifications
- Must be a self-starter and team player who is motivated, reliable, and accountable
- Must be a strong crew member with problem solving skills and an attention to detail
- Must be able to take and follow direction and have strong communication skills
- Must be trustworthy and honest
- Must be 100% compliant of all safety requirements and policies
- Must be able to perform DOT responsibilities
- Must ensure periodic maintenance of equipment used
- Must inspect work in progress and ensure performance within established procedures
- Operator Positions: Must have paving experience with knowledge and ability to operate paving equipment
